Eric and Liz’s wedding

Ok, it’s 1AM in Austin Texas, and i just got in from NYC for Alex and Karen’s wedding, so now that i’m one wedding behind, i suppose i should write about Eric and Liz’s wedding post haste. apologies if this is a little bit frazzled.

trip in

Michelle and Frank picked me up at the airport. great thing about Alaska Air? I got in a half hour early. Bad thing about Alaska Air? We then waited 45 minutes for our luggage. All averages out to a good flight i guess, if you don’t count the kid behind me who was making a loud slurping sound every 30 seconds as he attacked a jawbreaker with a voracity previously unseen

dinner

we did a little quick mexican food for dinner, then headed out for drinks… i don’t have a ton of good pictures from dinner, it was mostly just getting crunked and doing a lot of: “hey! how are you? how’s life?”. doesn’t always come across so great in picture form

mike and frank

the next night was the rehearsal dinner. Mike and Frank and i went early to set up get extra drunk.

the happy couple was there

the 233 crew were eating the strawberry shortcake (which was faaaaantastic)

and megan gaffney flashed gang signs all night, cause that’s what she does.

late night we headed into Capital Hill for a little bit of extra drinking. cause you know the kids love the extra drinking.

marya showed up and immediately punched mike as hard as she could.

umm… captain america was there… which lead to me flashing my geekdom as Joe Raglan referred to current events in teh marvel universe, and I started cursing out Iron Man. Comics Server, you have both saved me and destroyed me.

and of course we closed out the bar…

the next day was the magical wedding day. the 233 crew got ready to a little Gnarls Barkely (video might not contain audio, i can’t figure out what i’m doing wrong)

i tried to refrain from taking photos during the actual ceremony… but let’s just say i only sort of succeeded

this was the view from the room where the ceremony and reception took place. there are lots of things i really love about seattle. this is one of them.

eric gave a touching toast in which he called us all suckers.

and then we danced the night away. super band by the way, they managed to rock “any way you want it” by journey. outstanding…

late night was at Leah’s House…

and the next day we all pretty much felt like this.

great times, good to see all those kids, best wishes to eric and liz

1 wedding down, 2 to go…

hmm… that’s probably michael, cause frank is clean-shaven. he almost certainly wants to be your boyfriend, but he also lives in nyc…

what the hell kind of problem could you possibly have with Tony Stark?
