Book Recommendation: A Million Little Pieces

Over the weekend, i read A Million Little Pieces, by James Frey. Without giving too much of the plot away, it’s a true narrative about a young man’s struggle to overcome his massive drug and alcohol addictions over 6 weeks in a very fancy rehab center. It chronicles his progress and experience through the rehabilitiation process, etc…

This book is very powerful. i’m not much of a crier, but this book made me well up a few times. All the characters are compelling, and you root for pretty much everyone (except for the rehab jerks).

if you haven’t read it, go get it now. Now!

(edit: in the fairness of multiple opinions, i should note that scott disagrees with me on this, and thinks the author (who is the main character) is hopelessly self-absorbed and annoying)
