quick hits
i don’t have a ton of things to write about this week, so some quick love/hate hits:
I’m loving:
-playing with a band again, specifically when i hear neil start one of his fills and know that we’re going crazy go nuts into the chorus.
-getting 10 hours of sleep on a tuesday night. i mean wow. i felt so rested and ready to rock this AM
-having dreams where i’m running around shooting stormtroopers
-seeing the wide wide range of employers who see my monster.com resume and think that i might be what they’re looking for
-warmish days in november and december
-my ipod mini
-the Aeon Flux DVD. i never got into Aeon Flux, but it’s great. i can’t believe they showed it on MTV.
I’m hating:
-the way the patriots look.
-my job. specifically the E***n project
-scheduling practice time for the band. no city is less conducive to band logistics than NYC. seriously. if this were philly, boston, dallas, seattle, or any other city i’ve spent time in, this would be much much easier
-having super stormtroopers (looking very similar to new BSG cylons) show up in my dream, forcing me to run like crazy all around the ship.
